Dine to Make a Difference May 2:

A huge thanks and shout out to all who participated in May 2's Dine to Make a Difference Day, which raised awareness of and proceeds for hunger relief around the country and world!! Events were held in NY, NC, IL, WI, TX, WA, and CO -- and that's just what we KNOW of. Plus, lots of great online buzz. Thank you friends, Idealist.org, Beliefnet.org and many others!! Our "potluck with purpose" in Fort Collins, CO raised more than $500 for our local food bank, and also raised tons of fun and friendship! One family donated their garage sale proceeds to Share our Strength. Another family to Heifer International....Thanks to all for your generous response and hearts!!

  1. Dear Susan,

My name is Tim Bowman and I've just published a photography book to raise money for an orphanage in Cambodia. 100% of our sales prices goes to the orphanage thanks to a generous donor paying our print costs and everyone else workings pro bono. Our dream is to cover the running costs of the orphanage(US$50,000) for one year so they can expand and care for more children in need.

I'm scouring the internet to try and find your contact email to send you more info.

If you're interested to hear more please send me an email.

I'm also speaking at schools about the project and following your passion to go MAD(Make A Difference).

I've read your The Give Back Solution and sold Beads for Life beads with my students as well. Your the pebble in the lake and the ripples are going WIDE.

    Thanks,
    Tim
